DOULA SERVICES
“All birthing people deserve to be supported, empowered, & educated throughout their journey of bringing life into this world.”
One of the most amazing physical feats & emotional transformations you can experience is birth to another soul. As your doula, I will be your tour guide throughout this amazing experience.
I provide evidence based, physical & emotional support throughout your pregnancy, birth & postpartum.
Whether you choose to give birth in a hospital, birth center, or at home I will be committed to facilitating a positive birth experience for you.
MEET & GREET
A complimentary meeting where we get to know each other. This can be conducted in person or virtually via Zoom or FaceTime and will last approximately 20 - 30 minutes.
THREE PRENATAL MEETINGS
During these meetings we will review how your pregnancy has gone thus far and any questions/concerns you may have. We will discuss your birth preferences, coping/ comfort measures and preparing for post natal recovery. I will answer any questions you may have and can offer you my referral list ranging from prenatal yoga, herbal remedies, to pelvic floor physical therapy. Each meeting will last approximately 1 hour. Meetings may include accompaniment to a doctor/midwife appointment. Once discussed, you will receive a digital copy of your birth preferences and my referral list if requested.
ATTENDANCE & SUPPORT DURING THE BIRTH
I will be on call for your birth 24/7 at 37 weeks. Throughout your active labor and delivery I will provide physical, emotional, and educational support. I will never speak for you, decide for you, or replace your partner’s role. Nor will I ever judge your choices. Instead, I will help you empower yourself so you have the most fulfilling birth experience possible.
POSTPARTUM VISIT
Your postpartum visit will be a chance to check in on how you are feeling physically and emotionally and discuss any questions you might have regarding the birth. Meeting will last approximately 90 minutes and can include light housework, meal preparation and more.
